A must-see holiday tradition!

Join the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future as they lead the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey of transformation and redemption. Originally conceived by Michael Baron, this music-infused production captures the magic and joy of Dickens’s Yuletide classic. Acclaimed actor Craig Wallace plays Ebenezer Scrooge. This annual production has been a Washington tradition for 35 years.

Length: 2 hours with intermission. Recommended for ages 5 and older.

Reviews

"Musically high-spirited! Infectiously jolly!"

- The Washington Post

"Unabashedly fresh! Baron has transformed the Dickens seasonal tutorial about incivility, greed and the glory of redemption into a musical poem of hope."

- The Washington Flyer

"Dickens’s tale seems right at home in the newly renovated Ford’s Theatre, taking full advantage of the 19th-century architecture and charm of the historic playhouse. Ingenious set pieces and special effects heighten the magic of Dickens’s holiday tale."

- DC Theatre Scene
